According to FIC GS RAS the earthquake was felt in the Kluchi with intensity of 4-5 MSK, Kozyrevsk with intensity of 3 MSK and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky with intensity of 2-3 MSK.
The focal mechanism solution of the origin was calculated in FIC GS RAS with signs of initial arrivals of P waves at 83 stations, including 78 stations which registered compression waves (plus signs), and 5 stations which registered tensile waves (minus signs). These stations are located in the interval of epicentral distances of 3-93º and in azimuth sector Az=7-352º. Focal mechanism solution in stereographic projection on the lower hemisphere and the elements of the mechanism are presented in the table below. The table also presents solution obtained in USGS NEIC with W-phase Moment Tensor (Mww) technique. Solutions of different centers are close. The earthquake occurred under the action of prevailing action of compression stresses oriented S-SE. One nodal plane NP1 strikes W-SW (STK=251-264º), another plane NP2 strikes E-NE (STK=60-62º). The plane NP1 lies more horizontally (DP=32-42º) relative to the plane NP2 (DP=60-62º). The type of motion along NP1 – reverse fault with components of left latteral slip, aong NP2 – reverse fault with components of right latteral slip.The seismic moment of the earthquake was obtained in FIC GS RAS from spectrum of P waves registered at station "Obninsk" (∆60.99º), it makes Mo=3.0*10**18 N*m, Mw=6.3. According to USGS NEIC – Mo= 2.083 *10**18 N*m, Mw=6.1.
